Oshikandela has long been Namibia’s most loved drinking yoghurt. It’s the flavour many reach out for refreshment, comfort or simply when they want enjoyment. Over the past 12 months, however, Oshikandela has done more than just sit on that love. We expanded it and turned it into a movement that best acknowledges the people’s experiences.

The year began with a tribute to our Namibian roots. With the limited-edition revamp of our 2L Oshikandela Sweet bottle. We joined in on the celebration of pride, culture, legacy and the nation’s 35 years of Independence!
As the year was just starting, people craved more, so we gave them More to Love with the launch of Vanilla and Summer Fruit limited-edition flavours. This was more goodness, more vibes, more chill, more smoothness and More to Love of Oshikandela!

While the people where still squeezing their packs for those last drops of Vanilla and Summer Fruit, we hit them with more motivation. In collaboration with one of Namibia’s beloved artists, DJ Castro, Oshikandela dropped a rhythm of the nation. If there’s anything Namibians love more than flavour, it’s a fine tune they can groove to. Like many local creatives, DJ Castro understands the people and the people understand him. So, he worked his magic and Oshi Nation vibed with flavour in hand.

Namibia is diverse and we decided to match the energy with #MyOshitime. Here, everyone can chat about all things relaxation and how Oshikandela is fuelling their moments.
And while a calma state is the initial thought to #MyOshiTime, some consumers go the extra mile to define their moments. Johnson Kaulinge took it upon himself to try and put American popular streamer IShowSpeed on Oshikandela during his stop last month. Although unsuccessful, it was an iconic showcase of what it really means when the people say: wheneva, whereva, with Oshikandela!
That same energy lives in the Namlish Dictionary and Wacky Combos, where fans submit their own slang and get tips on wildest ways they enjoy their Oshi.
Many people move through their daily lives unaware of their health status. Recognising this, Oshikandela leveraged their community presence to champion Cancer Awareness Month. The launch of the 2kg Strawberry Oshikandela was a purposeful initiative. A portion of every sale will be donated directly to the Cancer Association of Namibia (CAN).
Beyond the bottle, we acted on the ground at NUST and UNAM main campuses on the 7th and 8th of October 2025, hosting awareness booths and self-examination demonstrations. Our collaboration with CAN culminated in free breast screenings for 277 students across both campuses, turning awareness into tangible health outcomes.
Namibia is diverse and to fully meet our consumers halfway, we opened a portal to #MyOshitime quiz, where everyone can chat about all things relaxation and simply taking it easy.

As we approached the end of the year, we launched the 2kg Oshikandela Plain; a response to the community’s request for more Oshikandela goodness. The 2kg is a perfect family pack that continues to offer more to share and celebrates real taste in every spoonful.

Just before we closed off the year, we channelled our inner Santa and went through our Oshi vaults to grant the people one last wish. By popular demand, Oshikandela Guava came back in the mix, bringing the same old vibes and feelings that never really left. The iconic lip-smacking taste of Guava has made a comeback in a limited edition and Namibians are gleefully tapping into their good-old Oshi rhythm!
